Our Growing Beds
|
The Nursery is situated in the
beautiful Mendip Hills over 700 feet above sea level. We are
surrounded by trees and wildlife and have spectacular views
across the Vale of Avalon as far as the Quantock Hills.
Our plants grow hard (either outside or cool temperatures inside)
so when planted in your garden they grow fast and healthy. We
always guarantee our trees and shrubs for the first year.
Because of the large amount of wildlife in the area, we try
our best to grow all our plants without using chemical sprays.
In fact a lot of gardener's use more in a year than we use in
5 years! This provides the balance of good insects that keep
our plants happy and healthy.
You will find our prices very competitive. We grow most of the
plants sold on the nursery, thus cutting out the middleman.
As well as the general public, we supply local authorities and
professional landscapers.
We are open nearly all year round:
9am to 6pm in summer
9am to 5pm winter weekdays
10am to 5pm at weekends.
The nursery is closed from 25th December to 2nd January - our
holiday!
