Fagus Purpurea Pendula

This is a beautiful, small tree with stiff weeping branches clothed in rich blackish, purple foliage. It is one of the few common beeches that doesn't grow very large and is ideal for the small garden. It looks stunning planted as a specimen in the lawn or in the garden border with silver and golden foliaged plants.
